Current State Of Mind

Hello from Denver! I've had a few moments to write down some thoughts so I figured I'd share some dancer thoughts with you all. I know it's been a minute since I sent out an email here, consistency is a goal that definitely requires some discipline. Consistency will definitely be a theme I will focus more on in the new year.

I hope you all have been well, I finished off a string of travel as I was in 5 cities in the month of October and then I had a weekender in San Francisco that went very well. I consider myself very blessed to continue doing so much what I love to do. What events have you traveled to recently? Did anything stand out to you about any event in particular?

I'm here in Denver to attend the Elevation Zouk Festival where I will be competing in my 3rd novice Jack & Jill. I feel kinda of unprepared and a little anxious about it but I will be definitely sharing my thoughts after I compete leading up to the event. My venture into the world of tennis for the past year has definitely shown me I have a healthy competitive side to me that I can use to push myself to progress in the areas I desire.

I've also been dabbling in so much code recently, especially CSS and Ruby on Rails as I'm working on phase 1 of my dance app which is creating centralized place where all of your dance events can to found and sorted by dance styles, location, and type of event. This is also my birthday month, I'll be turning 37 on the 11th! I will have a birthday sale to commemorate so stay tuned!
