Current State Of Mind
A lot has been on my mind, but what's really new about that lol. In my last newsletter, I was on the verge of traveling to San Francisco and Portland to teach at two weekenders. Both of the weekenders were awesome and I wrote a nice recap post you can check out if you'd like.
One thing I realized with organizing two weekenders in states that have more strict COVID protocols was that there's still a lot of confusion around what COVID rapid tests are versus the PCR tests. I'll be writing a blog on this topic because I feel it will be super important as we try to navigate back to dancing as safely as possible. In a nutshell, a rapid test is similar to an at-home pregnancy that can give you results in less than 15 mins.
I'm also writing this email Sunday night after a weekend where I attended my sister's wedding and also an ex-coworkers funeral in Houston. It was an interesting journey to swing my highs of happiness and dancing to those of loss and sadness from one day to the next. I cried more than I expected today but I'm doing alright.

Currently working on a blog about the COVID rapid tests as it pertains to running safer dance events and also scripting a video to explain what it means to urbanize kizomba fundamental concepts.

Since coming off of a funeral and contemplating the meaning of life, I feel it would be only fitting to share a video with some cool thoughts around the question, "Is There A God?"
